Sea World @ Gold Coast is definitely a must see attraction and it is quite easy to find as it is a short distance off the main highway (in Australia they called it the motorway). Entrance fee for an adult is A$74.99 but you can save quite a bit if you purchase the VIP pass which is A$99.99 and gives you unlimited entries to three theme parks, ie. Sea World, Movie World and Wet & Wild and this pass is valid till 30 June 2011. As the name suggests, Sea World is a haven for fishes and aquatic animals. There are shows featuring sea lions and dolphins and of course there are also the feeding times for the sharks. Seagulls and pigeons are quite used to human presence here and can be seen everywhere in the park looking for food, especially in the open air restaurants and cafes. You can also tour Sea World from the air by chartering its helicopter with flights starting from A$59.00 per person (ten minutes ride only) to a few hundred dollars depending on the duration of the flight. Too expensive for me but still a lot of people can be seen taking the helicopter rides!
