This morning I attended the wedding of Ak Afizan Pg Yakub and Rehayu which was held at the Grand Hall of the Empire Hotel & Country Club. It seems to be a trend nowadays for Malay weddings to be held in hotels which is good as the environment was definitely cooler and more comfortable! We arrived at 11.15 am and managed to get a VIP parking space in the basement which is a short distance from the banquet hall. Guests started arriving from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon and after prayers, lunch stared at around 12.30 pm. The guests started leaving at 1.00pm as soon as the groom left for the bride's home. Congratulations on your wedding day!
