This morning, Dat-co Design (B) Sdn Bhd celebrated its 20th Anniversary and Re-Opening of its Brunei Store after a major re-furbishing to the tune of close to a million dollars! Amongst the invited guests were ministers, friends, customers and representatives of several Italian luxury brands (who flew in all the way from Italy). Dat-co transformed the three units of ordinary shophouses into a fantastic landmark featuring colonial style architecture, probably a first in Brunei's history. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. George Cheong, the founders of Dat-co Design and my close friends of more than twenty five years for their magnificent achievement and success.
